About
Hi, I’m Lehan Veenker, the designer behind the creative works you’ll find on this site. I am based just outside of Chicago, Illinois and have been designing since 2010. As a former middle school math teacher, intellectual property attorney, and (still current) Tetris enthusiast, design has given me the opportunity to combine my passion for problem solving, logic and patterns, and art all into one awesome career! I love conceptualizing ideas, creating illustrations and paintings, figuring out how to piece motifs together into beautiful patterns, and laying out type and artwork onto a product in an way that is aesthetically pleasing to the eye. I take great pride in my art and design work and hope to create something that others will love, whether it be artwork to enhance your home interior, the invitation to set the tone for your social event, or the pattern to make your gift wrapping stand out. Many of my creative works have found homes at:
Minted ⟡ Greenvelope ⟡ Paper Culture ⟡ Target
Anthropologie BHLDN ⟡ Pottery Barn Kids ⟡ Barnes & Noble
Hopefully, one of my designs or a piece of my artwork will find its way to your home sometime soon!
