Hi, I’m Lehan Veenker, the designer behind the creative works you’ll find on this site. I am based just outside of Chicago, Illinois and have been designing since 2010. As a former middle school math teacher, intellectual property attorney, and (still current) Tetris enthusiast, design has given me the opportunity to combine my passion for problem solving, logic and patterns, geometry, and art all into one awesome career! I love taking my ideas, illustrations, and paintings and figuring out how to piece them together into beautiful patterns or laying them out on a product in an way that is aesthetically pleasing to the eye. I take great pride in my art and design work and hope to create something that others will love, whether it be art work to enhance your home interior, the invitation to set the tone for your social event, or the pattern to make your gift wrapping stand out. Many of my designs and patterns have found homes at Minted, Paper Culture, Greenvelope, Target, Pottery Barn Kids, Barnes & Noble, and BHLDN. Hopefully, one of my designs or a piece of my artwork will find its way to your home sometime soon!
